Job title: General Practitioner
Location: Northumberland Avenue Surgery
Salary: Up to £112,500 FTE depending on experience
Hours: 7 sessions per week (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery.
• Work closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan.
• Participate in clinical governance activities, contributing to improvement of quality and outcomes through audit, QOF, and other quality frameworks (e.g., QOF, LCS, DES, CQUIN, CQC).
• Provide clinical care as outlined in the job plan, including in person and video consultation sessions, telephone triage, patient correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, safeguarding, medicals, reports, home visits, meeting attendance and on call duties (excluding out of hours).
• Maintain the highest personal and professional standards as set by the GMC, prioritising individual patient care.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop and review the surgery action plan, covering list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile, and cost management.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the GMC and NHS Performers List.
• GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent.
• Clear commitment to delivering quality, patient focused services.
• Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUIN, and appropriate coding.
• Experience with clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb (preferred).
