General Practitioner

Hours: 08:30 - 17:30

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Locum General Practitioner (GP) registered on the Welsh Performers List to provide clinical cover at our friendly and well-established surgery in Barmouth.

This role initially requires cover on specific dates in May, with the opportunity for ongoing ad hoc sessions over the following 8 months.

• Thursday 7th May
• Friday 8th May
• Tuesday 12th May
• Wednesday 13th May
• Monday 18th May
• Wednesday 20th May
• Monday 25th May
• Wednesday 27th May
  Working hours: 08:30 - 17:30

Following the above dates, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide flexible, ad hoc locum cover over the next 8 months, based on mutual availability and service needs.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a primary care setting
• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Manage acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe safely and effectively in line with current guidelines
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Inclusion on the Welsh Performers List (essential)
• Previous GP experience in a primary care setting
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
