Join Our Team as a General Operator - Forklift

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting multiple General Operators with Forklift experience to support manufacturing and logistics activities within our Letterkenny facility.

Reporting to Production Supervisors, these hands on roles involve general operator duties combined with forklift operation to support material movement, production flow, and safe working practices in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Support material movement to and from production areas.
• Carry out general operator duties in support of manufacturing activities.
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out self checks and complete required manufacturing documentation.
• Identify and report defective or substandard components.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all Quality, Health & Safety, and Company procedures.
• Support team members and work collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
• Work overtime, shift work, or attend site activities as required.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid forklift licence.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar environment.
• Experience in a general operator, production, or manufacturing role.
