General Operative

General Operative - Hereford

Our client, a leading provider of heat treatment and thermal processing, is currently recruiting General Operatives based in Hereford. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with full training provided and clear career progression.

Duties

• Machine setting and operation
• Planning efficient loading and unloading of equipment
• Reporting equipment faults or performance issues
• Communicating problems or improvement opportunities to management

Shifts

• 3-week rotating pattern of days and nights
• Average 39 hours per week
• Days: 7am - 7pm (Monday to Friday)
• Nights: 7pm - 7am (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rates

• £13.00 - £13.81 per hour (depending on experience)
• Overtime: £19.50 - £20.72 per hour (over standard weekly hours)
