General Manager, West Yorkshire

We're looking for a General Manager for the 2 Door format, Yorkshire Rose in Huddersfield. Salary up to £45 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Step inside a Two Door pub and you'll find the best of both worlds. On one side, a buzzing bar atmosphere with sports, classic pub games and great pints poured just right. On the other, a warm and welcoming local dining side where everyone feels at home serving proper pub food, familiar favourites and good times for all.

The Yorkshire Rose is a large town centre pub in the centre of Huddersfield, located on a busy retail park and next to the football club. Despite the location the pub runs like a community site with a 60/40 food to wet trade split and regularly does £25k a week but that rises to £31k a week when Huddersfield Town are playing at home as the pub is the last stop before the ground and regularly used by home and away fans. The Yorkshire Rose is open for breakfasts in the morning and operates the Marston's Pizza and community food menu. There are 120 covers internally with more tables outside for al fresco dining and drinking. The pub needs an experienced manager used to high volume wet trade and delivering food volume.

As a Two Door General Manager, you'll run a pub with personality, one that celebrates tradition while delivering something for everyone, whether its family-friendly amenities, social spaces, a pet-welcoming policy, or a spot to enjoy the match. You'll build teams that know their guests, create spaces that feel welcoming from both sides of the bar and make sure every visit feels just right.

Management accommodation is available in the form of 3 bedrooms manager accommodation with a lounge and kitchen and bathroom. There is also a separate manager's office.
