We're looking for a General Manager for a popular Community pub and Hotel. Salary up to £40k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston's is one of the UK's largest and most beloved pub chains, operating over 1,300 pubs, bars, and hotels. Due to an internal move, we're seeking a talented General Manager to lead the team at the Shah of Persia in Poole and drive success!

About the pub

The Shah of Persia in Poole is a busy, family-friendly pub and hotel near the town center, ideal for holidaymakers and business travelers. It offers 14 en-suite bedrooms and strong year-round trade, located just a mile from the beach. The pub has a great reputation, high guest satisfaction, and features popular quiz and bingo nights, with food trading strongly on Sundays. Currently, weekly sales average £24,000, with a mix of £9k Wet, £11k Dry, and £4k Rooms. There is potential to grow food and drink sales further. We seek a passionate community operator with vision to develop this business!

Note: Management accommodation is not available; instead, we offer a £7,500 live-out allowance.
