We're looking for a General Manager for a food led community pub. Salary up to £40k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Y Cerrig Glass is a popular pub in Pembroke Dock. A great location, a couple of minutes' walk from town with ample opportunity to increase sales. There is parking on site for up to 50 cars, and The Y Cerrig Glass is able to cater for up to 2,000 covers. Currently the pub is averaging £24k a week in sales-with a 70/30 dry to wet sales mix.

The right candidate will have experience as a General Manager within a fast pace restaurant/pub environment, and be able to lead the business and team effectively. The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee sales growth, labour productivity, cost control and effective purchasing. With a proven track record of confidently leading and motivating a team to deliver a great guest experience.

Management accommodation is available in the form of 2 bedroom flat above the pub.

What hours would I need to work?

As the General Manager of your pub, you'll be required to work at peak trading times which involves evenings & weekends, as well as peak trading days such as bank holidays & the festive period.
