General Manager (HGV)

Based in Armagh, my client is a leading HGV company who are one of the market leaders in their field and who have a low turnover of staff. They rarely recruit due to their excellent work environment, and they are seeking to hire a General Manager with a HGV dealership or haulage company background. This role would suit someone who is currently working as a General Manager or someone who is currently working as a Service / Workshop Manager who is looking for a step forward with their career. This is a senior leadership position with significant autonomy, responsibility and authority.

On offer is a salary of £50,000 - £60,000, company vehicle, bonus etc. This is a Monday to Friday based position with no weekend work.

Role - General Manager

• Full operational responsibility for the day-to-day running, growth and performance of the facility.
• Responsible for leading workshop operations, bodyshop activity, repair planning, staff development, customer relationships and operational performance.
• You will also be expected to maintain a strong presence on the workshop floor, ensuring jobs are completed to the highest standards, within agreed timescales and in line with customer expectations.

Person - General Manager

• Previous proven experience working as a General Manager or Service / Workshop Manager within a HGV dealership or haulage company is essential.
