General Manager - House of Hammerton
Are you a passionate and experienced General Manager ready to lead a thriving pub? House of Hammerton is looking for someone to drive our success, ensure top-notch customer service, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsabilities:
Oversee daily operations: From staff scheduling and inventory to cash handling and compliance.
Lead exceptional customer service: Inspire your team to create memorable experiences for every guest.
Drive financial performance: Analyze results, identify improvements, and implement strategies to boost revenue and profit.
Build and mentor a high-performing team: Recruit, train, and foster a positive work environment.
Develop marketing and promotions: Attract new customers and keep our regulars coming back.
Maintain high standards: Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety are always top-notch.
Engage with the community: Build strong local relationships.
What You'll Bring:
Proven GM experience in a pub, bar, or restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Financial acumen and analytical skills.
Experience with inventory and stock control.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
A genuine passion for hospitality, especially craft beer/cocktails.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with POS/reservations software.
Knowledge of food and beverage trends.
Social media marketing experience.
Relevant hospitality qualifications.
