General Manager

As a General Manager, you'll take ownership of an operation, leading teams through change, delivering against customer expectations and ensuring the highest standards of safety, service and financial performance. • Provide strategic and operational leadership across a logistics operation
• Lead and develop high-performing management teams, creating an environment where colleagues can thrive
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Take ownership of operational performance, service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Lead change and improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency and colleague engagement
• Manage budgets, resources and operational costs to ensure commercial success
• Use data and operational insight to make informed decisions and drive performance
• Create clear succession and development plans to support future talent across the business
• Ensure all legal, regulatory and company compliance standards are maintained

• Experience leading large operational teams within logistics, supply chain, transport, warehousing or distribution environments
• A proven track record of delivering operational and commercial results
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach and develop others
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including customers and senior leaders
• The ability to drive change, challenge the status quo and continuously improve performance
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational targets
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
