General Manager

This well-loved pub is a busy destination during the tourist season and a steady local favourite throughout the quieter months. We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Manager who can connect naturally with both visitors and local regulars, while maintaining a warm and authentic Irish atmosphere. This is a keyholder role with day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of the business.

• Minimum five years' senior bar management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• A proven history of running a profitable bar, managing budgets and keeping tight control of costs.
• A genuine commitment to training, supporting and developing the team to consistently high service standards.
• Experience with stock control, scheduling, compliance and maintaining operational procedures.
• A practical, steady approach to leadership and problem-solving, and the confidence to handle busy periods as well as quieter times.
• A hands on, people first attitude - whether greeting guests at the door or supporting staff behind the bar.
