YOUR ROLE AS GENERAL MANAGER

As General Manager, you are the strategic leader and ambassador of AC Hotel Mainz. You combine strong commercial acumen with an inspiring leadership style, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and an elevated guest experience aligned with the AC Hotels brand promise.

Your mission: lead a premium lifestyle hotel to sustainable success, commercially, culturally, and operationally.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead all hotel operations with a visible, structured, and inspiring leadership approach.
• Ensure a refined, seamless, and consistent guest journey aligned with AC brand standards.
• Oversee all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
• Drive financial performance, profitability, and long term value creation.
• Take full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue strategy.
• Develop and empower department heads and teams through coaching and performance management.
• Ensure strict compliance with Marriott standards, atlik brand audits, and operational procedures.
• Build strong relationships with owners, partners, and the local business and cultural community in Mainz.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, service refinement, and operational optimization.
• Act as a brand ambassador for AC Hotels, representing the hotel with professionalism and credibility.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience as a General Manager in branded hotels
• Strong understanding of lifestyle and premium select-service hotel operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong financial acumen, including experience managing property budgets and driving GOP
• Hands on leadership style with high operational standards
• Strategic mindset with attention to detail and quality
• Experience working with Marriott standards (strong advantage)
• Fluent German and English (C1 level)
• Ability to lead confidently in a dynamic, quality-focused environment
