General Manager - Halifax

As our General Manager, you will take full ownership of the site's performance - leading the team to hit and exceed budget, delivering outstanding quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will combine commercial awareness with people-focused leadership to grow the business and achieve high customer satisfaction levels, keeping your site team members engaged and motivated.

Experience of a management role within the accident repair industry is paramount to the success of the role.

• Drive site performance to meet and exceed financial targets.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Manage recruitment and retention to ensure consistent staffing levels.
• Oversee workflow, quality control, and operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, and suppliers.
• Hold an understanding of P+L accounts.

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop General Manager or in a similar automotive leadership role.
• Strong commercial and operational management skills.
• Excellent people management abilities - from recruitment to ongoing development.
• A track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality work.
• Ideally hold a current industry standard qualification as a VDA
