Main duties of the jobAs the General Manager - Clinical, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. You will ensure the consistent delivery of high quality and person centred care, oversee recruitment, retention, and development of staff, act as the focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, maintain safe staffing levels, manage costs within budgetary controls, and provide inspirational leadership.

Other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality care and that residents receive care based on best practice.
- Recruiting, retaining, and developing staff within the home.
- Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing.
- Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with occupancy and dependency.
- Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Managing costs within budgetary controls by reviewing stock regularly.

Qualifications- Minimum four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and competence in IT.
- Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
- DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- NMC PIN required.
