We are looking for an inspirational and visionary leader to lead Anaesthetics and Theatres Business Unit in conjunction with a Clinical Director, Theatre Leads and Matrons.
This is a great opportunity to make a difference and to raise your profile in this key role. As a highly experienced and credible Senior Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Divisional Director and Deputy Divisional Director in directing, guiding and leading the Business Unit, and developing strategic business plans and performance management frameworks and financial targets.

Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Divisional Director in directing, guiding and leading the Business Unit Management Teams in the overall management of the Business Unit and for developing Business strategic plans
- performance management frameworks to ensure the delivery of all key activity and financial targets
- A key dimension will be to support the Divisional Director in engaging Clinical Managers in the complex management agenda including the preparation of annual business plans and the development of capacity and capability to deliver both local and national priorities.

Person Specification Experience- Significant experience working in a senior management position
- Experience of leading and directing senior clinical and non clinical teams
- Degree or equivalent knowledge gained through experience or professional qualification
- Professional management qualifications or equivalent
- Financial management and business management skills
- Experience and knowledge of the current NHS challenges
- Knowledge and understanding of NHS policy and of key changes in the NHS
