General Maintenance Person

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Maintenance Person to join our friendly, supportive team at our Sandown care home.

Broadhurst provides accommodation and personal care for up to 25 residents aged 65+, including individuals living with dementia or physical health needs. The home has a warm, family feel - and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment is essential to the wellbeing of our residents.

This role covers the general maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring the building and grounds remain safe, functional, and well presented.

You should have experience in a property maintenance related field. You will require a basic tool kit to carry out day to day tasks; any additional specialist tools will be provided.

The job role also includes maintaining the garden area, lawn mowing, hedge cutting, weeding and general upkeep of the garden area to keep it to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has a caring nature and good communication skills.

We are offering a salary in the range of £12.90 to £14 per hour, dependent of experience. This is a 24 hour per week position.
