General Maintenance Operative

Typical tasks include, but not limited to:

• Mobile Plant works - Replacing blades, wipers, etc
• Dealing with all PMF issues
• Site facilities works - Drilling, signage/netting, plumbing, brickwork, doors/handles, locks, barriers
• Stores / stock audits
• Workshop 5s audits
• General DIY
• Ad hoc works

Your experience and background: Essential

• Mechanical Knowledge/Experience
• General DIY - Building works, Plumbing, woodwork, Metal fabrication
• Good with Hand tools & power tools - drills, grinders, jigsaw
• Safety Conscious
• Welding experience
• Adept at using computer systems
• Experience issuing and overseeing Permit to work operations.

Desirable

• Formal Qualifications - NVQ in Mechanical works/fitting/Joinery
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Experience on a large site
