Meridian Business Support are recruiting for General Labourers to work for our client based in stoke on trent.

Job Title: General Labourers - Welding Area and General Operative Laser Press Area.

Location: Longton.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm.

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking General Operatives ideally with a background of engineering to join their team.

Role

The Role - This is a hands on labouring role within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting within the Weld and Laser Press areas
• Provide hands on support
• Using hand tools
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
• Supporting production targets and deadlines

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable with a positive and proactive attitude

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
