We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary School Cover Teachers for temporary positions across Surrey and West Sussex. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and are looking to impact students' learning positively on a flexible basis.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a constructive environment for learning.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of different classes and students.
• Maintain discipline according to the school policies and handle classroom management.
• Provide feedback on student performance and any significant issues encountered during the day.
• Ensure the safety and safeguarding of students at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
