General Catering Operative Dublin 1 - Full time

What you'll do:

• Cover various catering roles each day onsite
• Cleaning in busy wash up area
• Food preparation with chef team
• Deli assistant on busy sandwich bar
• Hospitality assistant during events onsite
• Barista in our coffee shop
• Mentor new starters & agency relief staff in their role onsite and ensure induction training is completed before they work so they have the Sodexo knowledge
• Mentor junior members of the team to ensure they are compliant to Sodexo and business needs
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations before, during & after service and ensure to follow all Sodexo health and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ensure food temperatures are monitored and recorded through the Kelsius system
• Interact with customers in the serving, retail, and dining areas
• Assist with deliveries and replenishing stock (First in, first out)

What you'll bring:

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
• Customer service skills / engagement
• Basic food-handling skills - deli preparation, food preparation, cleaning etc
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Willing to learn new skills
• No previous work experience required
