General Assistant

Aramark Northern Europe is currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to ensure that the highest standard of food quality, presentation and service are achieved and maintained at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and storage areas, including setup, restocking, and space management
• Ensure all work areas and equipment meet hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
• Support chefs and food service staff during busy service periods to maintain efficient workflow
• Complete assigned daily paperwork accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Keen interest in food and customer service
• Good understanding of spoken and written English
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organisation
• Background check required for badge clearance
• Full-time position only (not suitable for part-time students)
• Full, valid work permit required
