General and Gynae Sonographer - Bath

Job Title and Location

General & Gynae Sonographer (Obs Desirable) - Band 7 - Bath, Private Hospital - Start ASAP - Ongoing - £52-53 per hour (weekdays) - Mon Fri 09 00.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform General & Gynae ultrasound examinations.
• Ensure high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Adhere to departmental protocols and national guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Society of Radiographers (SoR).
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in General & Gynae sonography; obstetrics desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient centred care.
