GCSE Maths Teacher (Long Term until end of academic year)

The Head Teacher seeks an experienced GCSE Maths teacher who will deliver engaging lessons, inspire students to study at a higher level and support them to achieve excellent results. The role involves implementing the subject's schemes of learning and contributing to a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach GCSE Maths to a diverse cohort of learners.

• Plan and deliver curriculum aligned lessons with engaging resources.

• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support targeted improvement.

• Contribute to the development of the school's teaching and learning strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

• A first class or 2:1 degree in Maths.
• QTS, PGCE or DTTLS, with experience in a further education environment.
• Experience teaching young people in a diverse setting.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Desirable: SEND and Safeguarding experience.
• DBS certificate on the update service.
