Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Global Business Services, the GBS Transformation & Portfolio Lead is a critical enabler of GBS success; being responsible for managing the coordination and delivery of change and transformation across the GBS scope. Running a GBS Transformation Office they orchestrate GBS' transformation efforts, ensuring outcomes remain aligned to business strategy and robustly govern delivery and portfolio value realisation through focussing on:

  • Business case evaluation and initiative prioritisation, funding
  • Portfolio and Programme governance
  • Value realisation tracking and reporting.

What You'll Do as aGBS Transformation & Portfolio Partner Lead;
  • Transformation Leadership
    • Manage the coordination and delivery of transformation initiatives across the GBS scope.
    • Ensure alignment of transformation outcomes with enterprise strategy and business objectives.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to drive change readiness and adoption.
  • Portfolio & Programme Governance
    • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks for GBS programmes and portfolios.
    • Oversee initiative prioritisation, funding allocation, and business case evaluation.
    • Ensure transparency and accountability across the transformation portfolio.
  • Value Realisation & Reporting
    • Track and report on value delivery across transformation initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs, ROI, and strategic impact.
    • Partner with finance and business units to validate benefits and ensure sustainability.
  • Transition Management
    • Develop and execute transition plans to support the migration of processes, systems, and teams during transformation.
    • Manage risks and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth adoption of new ways of working.
  • Project Delivery and Business Analysis
    • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
    • Conduct business analysis to identify requirements, assess impacts, and support solution design for GBS initiatives.
  • Process Governance including Risk & Controls
    • Establish and maintain process governance frameworks, including risk identification, mitigation strategies, and control mechanisms.
    • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations across GBS processes.
  • Process Document Management
    • Develop, maintain, and govern process documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
    • Implement document management standards and tools to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in transformation, programme management, or shared services leadership.
  • 8+ years of experience in global services, shared service and outsourcing.
  • Bachelor's or master's in a relevant field.
  • Experience of leading a portfolio of programmes with over €20 million value realisation, involving suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of process excellence, governance, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused approach to planning and delivery.
  • Experience with research, analysis, and project management (Agile or traditional frameworks).
