Job Title -Gas Heating Engineer

Job Location -London and the South East

Salary -£35k - £40k plus bonus

Our client is recruiting a London based gas heating engineer who will be hands on to respond to emergency or planned jobs.

Our client has established and successfully developed relationships with a wide range of high end clients and have built a significant portfolio of commercial and retail clients in central London through exceptional property care and measurably better service delivery standards.

The repairs you will undertake are boiler servicing and most types of boiler and hot water cylinder renewals along with a full range of general heating and hot water services including diagnostic testing, component renewals gas safety checks, repairing gas leaks (consumer side), renewing radiators and radiator valves, bleeding air from systems, renewing flues and hob servicing.

In the role you will be equipped with testing and diagnostic equipment that facilitates early and accurate diagnosis of faults and enabling systems to be back up and working reliably and rapidly.

You must have testing and diagnostic experience as you will diagnose faults daily.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and replacement of boilers within our clients/customers' homes
• Upgrades of existing heating systems
• Attend services, breakdowns and reactive maintenance works
• Ensure jobs are completed to specification and pass post quality inspection
• Work in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers' instructions
• Plan and organise workload to maximize productive time and ensure the best service to customers

Skills Required:

• Driving licence
• Clean criminal record
• Gas experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with heating systems
• Proven gas qualifications
• Private residential experience
• Happy and experienced to install boilers
