Garment Technologist

The Garment Technologist bridges the gap between design concepts and final production. This role is responsible for ensuring all garments meet the standards for fit, quality, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions and provide clear technical feedback to factories.
• Create and manage detailed Tech Packs, including grading and measurement charts.
• Analyze fabric test reports and troubleshoot production risks or quality issues.
• Maintain sizing consistency across all ranges.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of new styles.
• Monitor factory production to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in garment technology or technical design.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and fabric behavior.
• Proficiency in PLM software, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with overseas suppliers.
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail.
