Galway Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic 2026

We are now accepting applications for Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for Bus Éireann Galway Depot with placements starting in September 2026.

To ensure your application is processed, you must submit proof of meeting the SOLAS Equivalence Qualifications at the time of application.

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you will receive top-tier technical training to maintain and repair modern public service vehicles. You will gain hands on experience in day to day repairs, preventative maintenance, and advanced vehicle diagnostics. The apprenticeship consists of seven phases: three off the job training phases designated by SOLAS and four on the job training phases with Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus.
