Job Description

Acorns Children's Hospice are now seeking a passionate and results-driven Partnership Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Foundations to development a programme of Trust and Foundation grant applications and deliver agreed income. This role is offered on a fixed term until May 2026, with a possible extension (maternity cover)

About the Role

Acorns is currently the UK s largest children s hospice charity, in terms of both numbers of children and families supported and annual expenditure on our care work. We need to raise more than £13 million each year to run and support our care services and we rely heavily on the goodwill and generosity of our local community.

As Partnership Fundraising Manager, you will:

  • be responsible for the creation and submission of bespoke applications to trusts and foundations, including high value and multi-year funding organisations.
  • maintain, develop and support existing relationships with grant making trusts and foundations
  • deliver engagement events to motivate and inspire trusts and foundations
  • develop and use a bank of Acorns stories and case studies
  • build good relationships and work closely with the wider Acorns teams including Care Teams, Finance, Data Team and Marcomms

About You

  • Experience of trust and foundation work in the voluntary sector
  • Evidence of success in putting together funding bids to trusts/foundations
  • Fundraising experience
  • Evidence of achieving significant income budgets
  • Experience of conducting research, analysis of data and developing prospects lists

What We Offer

  • £37,000 to £44,000 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Fixed term until May 2026 (maternity cover)
