Our client is a leading organisation within the Financial Services sector with a strong presence across the Asset Management and Funds industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Fund Accounting professional to join their Dublin team. The position will provide broad exposure across Fund Accounting, NAV production, fund onboarding, system migrations and process improvement.

You will also have the opportunity to act as a technical Fund Accounting SME, mentor junior team members and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Who should apply?

Candidates should have 5-7 years' Fund Accounting experience, ideally gained within a Fund Administrator, Asset Manager or similar Financial Services environment.

You should have strong end to end NAV calculation experience and a detailed understanding of the Fund Accounting lifecycle. Experience across Private Equity, Private Credit or other closed ended fund structures would be advantageous, alongside exposure to Fund Accounting systems such as Geneva or Investran. Experience with reconciliations, fund setups, performance fees, waterfalls and distribution calculations would also be beneficial.

Role and Reporting Lines

The Fund Accounting Manager will take responsibility for a range of technical Fund Accounting activities and projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the production and review of NAV calculations
• Supporting fund onboarding and system migration projects
• Reconciliation analysis and break resolution
• Reviewing and improving NAV production processes and controls
• Supporting Fund Accounting process improvement and automation
• Acting as a technical Fund Accounting SME
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members
