We are looking for a dynamic Fund Accounting Manager to lead end to end service delivery, operational performance, risk, and client outcomes for one of our most significant clients.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering high quality client service support.
- Ensure effective day to day BAU service delivery from the Ireland Fund Accounting team and global operations teams servicing this client.
- Elevate and remediate issues in a timely manner, including NAV production, client and regulatory reporting, accounting query resolution, and reconciliation investigation.
- Report and resolve errors, provide staff training, and update operational procedures to maintain controls and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with teams across our global operating model to service clients and support transformation initiatives, creating efficiencies through technological enhancements.
- Support the delivery of change initiatives for the client, including transitions, launches, and operating model changes.
- Develop an effective oversight framework for the client service model to identify, prioritise and resolve issues.
- Build a strong talent pipeline, oversee succession planning, and implement a culture of risk excellence and accountability.
- Ensure the team understands reporting lines, scope of responsibilities, objectives, training and competence.
- Develop effective working relationships and communications with leaders and staff, motivating and supporting them.
- Plan succession for critical roles and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Maintain the highest level of the Code of Conduct in personal and staff behaviour.
- Primary degree and/or professional accounting qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Fund Accounting or a comparable financial services environment supporting complex fixed income funds and derivative instruments.
- Experience supporting ETF funds is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of setting and maintaining high standards.
- Clear, confident communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients, employees and stakeholders.
- Strong delegation, prioritisation and organisational skills, able to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams, supporting personal and professional growth.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and control, working effectively under pressure.
- High levels of self motivation, resilience and enthusiasm, making timely decisions in high pressure situations.
