The Team You'll Work WithYou will be part of a diverse and collaborative team that strives to provide first-class client experiences while digitizing and automating fund services. Working within the Venture Funds team, you will learn to address complex challenges and support venture capitalists in fund administration.
The Problems You'll Solve- Perform fund administration tasks such as handling investor transactions, preparing capital calls, producing NAVs, and preparing financial statements.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve fund accounting processes and move towards automation.
- Tackle challenges at the intersection of law, accounting, finance, regulation, and tax.
- Share knowledge proactively to automate fund structures and enhance processes and products.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a startup environment.
- Experience in preparing fund accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, etc.
- 2+ years of accounting or finance experience within the fund industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of complex fund accounting mechanisms, especially for closed-end funds.
- Ability to provide audit support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Interest and knowledge of the Private Equity, Venture Capital, and startup ecosystems.
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant (not essential).
