Functional Skills Tutor

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching in English, Maths, and ICT (up to Level 2) to a diverse range of learners. You will support learners in developing essential skills, achieving qualifications, and progressing into further education or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons.
• Provide both group and one-to-one learner support.
• Conduct initial assessments and track learner progress.
• Adapt teaching to meet different learning styles and needs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement.

Requirements:

• Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 3 AET).
• Functional Skills qualification or subject-related degree.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills or similar courses.
• Good understanding of assessment and quality processes.
