Job Description
TWI Ltd in Port Talbot hosts a fully funded PhD Studentship focusing on Physics-Informed AI to predict corrosion and material degradation in critical infrastructure. The three-year program is run with UWTSD and NSIRC, with collaboration from TWI Wales.
The project merges physics with data-driven AI to forecast corrosion and degradation, supporting predictive maintenance and lifecycle assessment for pipelines and assets. Start is October 2026.
