Job Description
Imperial College London offers a fully funded PhD studentship in Computational Solid Mechanics with a 3.5-year bursary and home-rate fees. The project includes training in Crystal Plasticity Finite Element and MATLAB/C++ within Imperial's Resesearch Software Engineering team, and collaboration across the Mechanics of Materials division.
The successful candidate will develop CPFE/DDP models for Nickel alloys under thermo-mechanical loading, improve code performance, and contribute to publications
