Salary: 45.000 - 65.000 € per year

• Relevant professional experience of at least 4 years
• English proficiency at least at B2 level, German is desirable
• Residence in Germany already exists
• Experience in backend development (Python) and frontend development (React)

• Backend development in Python on KIWI's own digital access control system
• Web frontend development in React
• Contribute to KIWI's software architecture and design
• Coordination with and support of adjacent engineering disciplines, namely embedded development, mobile app development, and DevOps
• Code Reviews for and support of your fellow software development teammates
• Occasional support of our operations team

We are looking for a mid-level software engineer (m/f/d) starting asap for 40 hours / week with a few years of experience in backend development using Python and web frontend development with React. This individual should have a strong ambition for a senior engineering role and a desire to become a core member of our engineering team. As an IoT company, we require someone who is interested in adjacent fields of engineering and enjoys collaborating with embedded developers, app developers, and DevOps engineers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a drive to continuously improve our processes, code quality, and overall way of working.
