Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role are:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair/ City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City & Guilds Automotive
Have experience working within an independent garage
Experience of working on commercial vehicles/ LCV / cars
MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-5PM AND OCASIONAL SATURDAYS AS AND WHEN REQUIRED
Summary
As a Full-Time Vehicle Mechanic, you will be integral to maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools to diagnose issues and perform repairs. Your expertise will be essential in adhering to industry standards, including holding a CE Licence and NVQ certification. Join our dedicated team and contribute to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively to diagnose and fix mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Stay updated on industry advancements and techniques to enhance skills and service quality.
