Responsibilities- Ensure the efficient running of the shop floor to achieve the highest levels of customer service, sales, and profit.
- Support the management team in managing all personnel, product and merchandising functions, business processes, and results for the store.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
- Clearly communicate with staff about all marketing and sales promotions.
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team, while offering customers an exemplary store journey.
- Consistently foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently.
- Support the team in delivering the business strategy and ensure everyone receives consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
- Achieve company standards and goals for personal sales results: sales vs budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction.
- Perform manager on duty functions and manage store opening/closing operations and the sales floor.
- Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure staff accountability for building a repeat customer base by providing unparalleled spirited service.
- Ensure "door to floor" best practices with visual merchandising directives for the sales floor and back room are executed; continually review these to maintain consistency.
- Work with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions, including potential successors.
- Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- Experience in people management and the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to cultivate belonging.
- Collaborative mindset that wins and recognizes the contributions and achievements of others.
- Courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- Fast adaptation and ability to work at a pace consistent with retail demands.
- Energetic presence on the shop floor that inspires trust.
- Approach all issues with a 'can do' mindset and make informed in store decisions.
