Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs & Care Support

Location: Peterlee

Not all support is academic. Some of it is personal.

Supporting pupils aged 6-12 with moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Personal care may be required.

Daily Duties

• 1:1 classroom support
• Personal care assistance where needed
• Small group literacy
• Sensory regulation
• Behaviour documentation

Environment

High staff ratio. Calm setting. Clear routines.

Experience & Pay

Care experience desirable but not essential.

Trainee scale available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
