Job Description
About the role 
- Investigate the role of T cell immunity in disease progression in myeloma.
- Use AI-driven structural biology (e.g., AlphaFold) to identify T cells that recognise the cancer.
- Probe and model the functional dynamics of these T cells as the disease progresses.
- Examine how genetics and ethnicity influence immune response and clinical outcome.
- Background in engineering, mathematics, physics or biology.
- Willingness to engage in advanced computer science; experience in programming is helpful.
- First or Upper Second (2.1) Bachelor and/or Masters level degree in a relevant subject.
- UK student classification.
- Fully funded 4-year PhD studentship funded by Cancer Research UK.
- Tuition fees at Home rate.
- Non-taxable annual stipend of £24,643 per year.
