About the role:

Justteachers are supporting a secondary school in Leeds who is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department. Whether you are available to start immediately or looking for a new position from September 2026, this school offers a supportive environment where staff development, high standards, and student success are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with school and departmental expectations.
• Use data and assessment to track progress and provide targeted support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Participate in whole school CPD, meetings, and wider school activities.
• Maintain excellent communication with students, colleagues, and parents.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
• Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
• Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
