FULL TIME HGV CLASS 2 & VAN DRIVER

A rare opportunity has come up at International Copiers for a Class 2 qualified driver. The role will be varied and will include: Class 2 driving & Van Driving. The ideal candidate would need to be willing to cover holiday for our north run driver which includes Monday - Friday tramping.

The role would include moving photocopiers, so although manual handling training is provided a basic knowledge of manual handling practices would be preferred.

Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods
- Load and unload photocopiers using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Class 2 driver or delivery driver
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
