Love working with teens but not keen on lesson planning? Step into the classroom as a Cover Supervisor.

We're working with a group of friendly and well-organised secondary schools looking for confident, calm and capable Cover Supervisors to join their day-to-day and short-term cover team this September.

Whether you're an aspiring teacher or just enjoy leading a class with a bit of structure and support, this is a brilliant way to build experience in schools without the pressure of full teaching responsibilities.

What's the job?

• Delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher


• Keeping students on task and managing classroom behaviour


• Supporting the wider teaching team with admin or prep tasks


• Acting as a positive and reliable presence in school life

What we're looking for:

• Confidence leading a class (experience in schools, coaching, youth work or tutoring all counts!)


• Strong communication and behaviour management


• Flexibility, reliability and a good sense of humour


• A genuine interest in education and working with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
