Job Tittle: Full Stack Developer - UI/React (Scala)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Bromley (3 Days a Week Onsite)
Working Pattern: Full Time (40 Hours per Week)

Project Overview:
You will be working on a cutting-edge React web application that functions as both a platform and an application. Your contributions will help enhance core library consistency across products and tackle a significant backlog of development on the UI/React side. Get ready to dive into the fascinating world of self-generative AI, complex data management, and data visualisation supporting global markets!

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate within a feature team to provide Operations Users with effective Workflow and Work Management for Trade Lifecycles-from Booking through Settlement to Position Keeping.
  • Lead the charge on UI/UX improvements to modernise and enhance product usability.
  • Develop high-quality web-based UI solutions using React JS and JavaScript.
  • Need to know Back End Scala.
  • UI design skills, able to prove that they have been involved in the UI design
  • Experienced in TDD, Cyprus automated testing
  • Utilise your full stack capabilities and knowledge of JVM languages, particularly Scala.
  • Write robust Unit Tests and Acceptance/behaviour Tests to ensure code quality.
  • Tackle complex data structures and algorithms with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Engage actively in Agile practises, including pair programming and daily stand-ups.
  • Share your expertise and collaborate with team members while maintaining a continuous integration workflow.
  • Work comfortably in a Linux/Unix environment.

What You Bring:

  • Professional experience in developing web-based UI solutions with React JS.
  • Proficiency in JVM languages, especially Scala or other functional programming languages.
  • A solid foundation in writing Unit Tests and Acceptance/behaviour Tests.
  • Strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving.
  • A proven track record in Agile methodologies and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with the relevant problem domain from previous roles.
  • An enthusiasm for technology and a desire to innovate!
