Full or Part-time Optometrist - Monday to Friday, Glasgow, Scotland

My client, a well-established optical domiciliary company, has a vacancy for a full or part-time permanent optometrist. The role is Monday to Friday, with no weekends required, and involves working across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

You will visit nursing and care homes, as well as patients in their own homes within Glasgow and nearby areas. Your responsibilities include carrying out full clinical tests. The ideal candidate must possess excellent clinical skills, with a sympathetic approach and empathy, as most patients are elderly, infirm, and some suffer from dementia. You will always be assisted by an experienced optical assistant, who will also provide transportation to the venues.
