FTTP AREA MANAGER - WEST DOWNS

We are excited to announce we are actively seeking FTTP Area Manager in the Service Delivery department. The position will be field-based, covering the West Downs region.

Salary: £37,000

Working Hours: Between 8:00am - 8:00pm (Monday - Friday)

As the FTTP Area Manager, you will lead a team of engineers, providing leadership, support, and feedback. You will manage the local area to ensure Service Delivery targets are met.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing the team within budget constraints, seeking opportunities to reduce costs and maximize revenue.
• Ensuring all team members are skilled, equipped, and accredited to client standards.
• Overseeing performance and continuous improvement through development, recognition, communication, field visits, and FPQ checks.
• Ensuring team members understand their targets and are committed to achieving them.

Technical Expertise & Service Delivery

• Identifying opportunities for multi-skilling and cross-project working to enhance field operations.
• Seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Ensuring safety and quality checks are performed according to MJ Quinn policies.

Experience required:

• Managerial experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
• FTTP background.
• Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).
• Computer literacy.
• Effective communication skills with clients.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

Desirable qualifications:

• Managerial or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of the BT network.
• Understanding of fibre networks.
• Full UK driver's license.
