Our client is a leading professional services firm that has been growing rapidly in Ireland. With over 2500 employees and 8 offices across Ireland and the Isle of Man, they are committed to providing their people with the best opportunities for personal and professional growth.

They are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Financial Services Audit team in Dublin. As a key member of the team, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, providing audit and related services.

Main Responsibilities -

• Manage a large and varied portfolio of clients, ensuring the quality of audit work is of the highest standard
• Develop and maintain client relationships, including the promotion of new business opportunities
• Supervise and train junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
• Take responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team
• Prepare and present business tenders to develop and grow the client portfolio
• Negotiate client fees and manage working capital

About you -

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Minimum 7+ years' experience
• Insurance audit experience is highly desirable
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Irish GAAP and auditing standards (IFRS experience is an advantage but not essential)
• Experience in electronic auditing and the ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment
• Commercial awareness and the ability to make professional judgments based on findings
• Portfolio management experience
• Experience working as part of a team supporting others
• Experience gained in a Big 4 accounting firm would be advantageous
