Frontline Homelessness Prevention & Housing Options Officer

Calderdale Council is seeking an experienced Homelessness Prevention Officer to join its front-line Housing Options team in Halifax. This temporary role runs from 7 September to 19 October 2026, paying £13.59-£13.69 per hour.

You will interview customers presenting as homeless or in housing need, complete statutory assessments, and develop personalised housing plans in line with the Housing Act 1996 as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
