Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join an established engineering team. You will build, maintain, and improve modern web applications, delivering high-quality features in short development cycles.
This role is best suited for engineers who can quickly understand an existing codebase, become productive with minimal guidance, and consistently deliver production-ready software.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modern Front End applications using contemporary web technologies.
Deliver features from technical design through implementation and release.
Translate business requirements, designs, and mockups into high-quality user interfaces.
Break down complex work into manageable implementation tasks.
Collaborate with Back End engineers, product managers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Debug production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to Front End architecture and engineering best practices.
Monitor application health using observability and performance monitoring tools.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.

Must Have
3+ years of professional Front End development experience.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with React or Vue.js.
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience building responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform web applications.
Strong understanding of Front End architecture and modern development patterns.
Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Experience writing unit tests and maintaining high code quality.
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience debugging and supporting production applications.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
Ability to quickly understand large existing codebases.
Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding.
Strong focus on delivery, quality, and ownership.

Nice to Have
Experience with Node.js.
Experience with GraphQL.
Experience with AWS or GCP.
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven product development.
Experience optimizing Front End performance and Core Web Vitals.
Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing applications.
Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.
Experience proposing architectural or product improvements.

This role offers £600 per day for 6 months inside of IR35 with 1 day a week in Manchester.
