Senior Front Office React Engineer | Investment Banking | London | £600-£650/day

We're supporting a leading investment bank in the search for a Senior Front Office React Engineer to join a highly visible trading technology team.

This is a React-first position focused on building and enhancing trader-facing applications used across the Front Office. You'll work directly with traders and business stakeholders, delivering Real Time trading tools, market data visualisations, execution interfaces and workflow applications that support critical trading activity.

The successful candidate will have a strong background developing modern React applications within investment banking, capital markets or trading technology environments. Whilst experience with C#, Java or Python is beneficial, the primary focus is on React, TypeScript and building high-performance Front End applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Front Office trading applications using React and TypeScript
• Work closely with traders, desk heads and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Build Real Time, data-driven user interfaces for trading and market data workflows
• Design and implement reusable Front End components and application architecture
• Collaborate with Back End engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews and engineering best practices

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience building trader-facing or Front Office applications
• Investment Banking, Capital Markets or Trading Technology experience
• Experience working with Real Time market data applications
• Modern Front End architecture experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
