About the RoleShift Pattern: Varied, casual cover. Cover is typically between Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 16:00.
You will work as part of a team, providing service for all food and beverages within the event spaces of the corporate headquarters. This includes assisting with event catering, supporting the staff restaurant, and maintaining surrounding areas. This is a part time role, offering between 4 to 6 hours of work per day, which can also be adjusted to term time only, tailored to fit the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Ensure agreed standards of service are maintained in all areas and guests are treated professionally and courteously at all times.
- Keep all areas where food and beverages are served clean and tidy.
- Set up food service areas and ensure they are ready for guests to use.
- Interact with meeting clients during morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea breaks as appropriate.
- Inform the Chef of replenishment required during any service.
- Ensure that beverages, hot and cold, are set up and the area is clean and tidy at all times.
- Use equipment correctly and report any faults to the General Manager.
- Carry out any reasonable request made by a member of management.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
